Winter Inspiration

I always feel a little sad when the last leaves fall. Last night saw a storm with terribly high winds move through southern Ontario. Several friends lost power.  I nervously watched my own lights blink.

This morning I awake to a lovely dusting of snow. Do you ever notice how frost softens bold colors? Maybe you aren’t the type to paint your kitchen pumpkin orange…what about a softer tone? Still rich in color but muted by winter’s blanketing effect.

I love the picture above. I think it speaks perfectly to the beauty of seasonal transition.

Looking for more pallet examples? I’m personally loving bloglovin.com, the source of the above picture and pallet.  Not interested in surfacing around? They deliver inspiration right to your inbox.

As for me, I have some hot tea to drink right now.  However, if you want me to come put Sherwin Williams Cavern Clay (SW 7701) in your kitchen, I’m happy to oblige.
